Environmental Sustainability

At STORM Partners, we contribute to environmental sustainability by implementing various practices and initiatives that reduce our ecological footprint and promote responsible resource management. Primarily, we promote remote work options to save resources and reduce office-related energy consumption. We also offer flexible work arrangements to reduce commuting and associated emissions.

If transportation is necessary, we encourage employees to use public transportation, carpool or bike to work. While many of our employees work outside of Montreux, we encourage travel (and particularly air travel) only when it’s absolutely necessary. At the same time, we regularly calculate our company’s carbon footprint and consider investing in carbon offset projects that neutralise or mitigate the greenhouse gas emissions we cannot avoid.

At our company headquarters, we have invested in energy-efficient appliances, lighting, and heating/cooling systems. we also encourage employees to turn off lights and equipment when not in use. We have also reduced waste by using digital documents, encouraging reusable items like water bottles and coffee cups and promoting water-conscious behaviours among employees.

Lastly, we regularly conduct awareness campaigns to educate employees about environmental sustainability and encourage them to adopt eco-friendly practices at work and at home.
